Welcome to the Wilmington Public School Libraries!
The mission of the Wilmington Public School Libraries is to: provide students with access to a collection of skillfully selected and organized curriculum supportive resources in all formats; promote a love of reading and encourage the appreciation of fine literature; teach research and presentation skills utilizing multiple technologies and resources; foster critical inquiry and create life-long learners.
What's new in the libraries
Be on the lookout for new Vox books (a type of spoken book) thanks to a grant from the Wilmington Educational Foundation. They will be available in the Boutwell and Wildwood libraries. Thank you to the WEF for their continued support!
And also keep your eye out for new diverse titles in all our libraries! Thanks to another donor, we have added many beautiful fresh books to all the different school library collections.
